Family counter
The Family Counter is open to everyone on Tuesdays between 1 and 4 p.m. and Thursdays, between 1 and 7 p.m.
You will find second-hand clothing for children and adults, toys and small household items, all in good condition and at reasonable prices.
All articles are generously donated by the community throughout the year.

Loan of Orthopedic Equipment
The Center has an inventory of crutches, walkers, canes, wheelchairs, portable toilets, etc.
This service is offered at no charge to any individual who is in temporary need of orthopedic equipment.
Accompanied Transport
This service is offered to any person who has a medical appointment outside of his/her municipality of residency.
A volunteer will pick you up at your home, will wait during your appointment, and will drive you back home.
Accompanied transport is available 7 days a week.
Fees vary according to the destination.
Call at least 48 hours (2 days) before the day of your appointment.
Note: this service is based on volunteer availability.
Christmas Baskets
This service provides assistance to families and individuals in need.
Food and Clothing Bank Service
This service provides support for families and individuals in need.

Income Tax Clinic & Governmental Forms
This service is free and offered to people with low income.
Your taxes and/or governmental forms are prepared confidentially by qualified volunteers.
Reference Services
We offer the population a reference service.
We direct you to the organization or service you need.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is offered to:
- seniors 60 years of age,
- the physically impaired,
- the chronically ill or convalescent and
- mothers with a new baby.
The Stanstead Volunteer Center offers a well balanced meal consisting of a soup, a main course and dessert.
Every Monday through Friday for only $6.00 per meal, volunteers deliver your meal to your home.
Deliveries in Stanstead Township: on Wednesdays. Deliveries in Ayer’s Cliff: on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Frozen meals are also available for the weekend.
